My name is Safeer Mohiuddin and I am the founder of Underage Investor. For so long, I’ve been looking for a place where I could learn and discuss with other college students and young professionals about investing, credit cards, savings and just about everything else involving personal finance. I was lucky enough to start investing when I was 17 after selling $100,000 worth of iPhones when I was in high school. After this venture, I didn’t know where to start in setting up my personal finances…what the difference was between a savings and checking account or the difference between a debit or credit card and the advantages/disadvantages of each. Luckily with the help of my dad I was able to figure things out and start investing with some of the money I had previously made. I’ll never forget my first trade. Buying 15 shares of Amazon at $98 on September 30, 2009. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and Amazon was around $226 when I decided to take my gains and sell. Over the years, my passion for investing grew with the start of me occasionally blogging about stocks and companies that I was interested in on my personal blog. 9 months ago, I decided to take this passion to the next level and create a Facebook group to allow young people like me to discuss companies and stocks that had bright futures.  Now it’s time to take it even further with the launch of Underage Investor. It’s time there was a place for young people like us to be able to educate ourselves about investing, stocks, credit cards, loans, mortgages and so many other topics within personal finance. I intend to make Underage Investor that place and I hope you will join me on this journey. If you are a professional in the financial industry, I can’t do this without you. If you want to get involved please reach out to me at info@underageinvestor.com.

Looking forward to the future,

Safeer Mohiuddin
